Honen Dalim is a Jewish community located in Maputo, the capital of Mozambique in southern Africa. Honen Dalim holds multi-lingual (Hebrew-English-Portuguese) Kabbalat Shabbat services at the synagogue in our special “Maputo style” every Friday evening. Services take place in the historic synagogue building located in central Maputo. We also hold children’s services, learning services, holiday services and activities throughout the year. We celebrate Jewish life-cycle events, participate in international events such as Mitzvah Day, and have on-going Jewish educational opportunities.
