Honen Dalim membership fees cover our basic operating expenses such as upkeep and guard services for the synagogue.  Donations are always welcome to support capital improvements, travel of visiting rabbis, and to allow us to offer expanded programs.

Contributions can be made via direct deposit or bank transfer in either Mozambican metacais or U.S. dollars.

U.S. tax deductible donations can also be made through Friends of the Jewish Community of Mozambique, a 501c3 organization based in California.

Direct Deposits or Bank Transfers

To make a direct contribution to the synagogue in either US dollars (USD) or Mozambican metacais (MZN) email info@honedalim.org.  We will provide account information, transfer instructions, and will follow-up directly with the bank to verify the deposit.

U.S. Tax Deductible Donations

Friends of the Jewish Community of Mozambique (FoJCM) is a nonprofit organization established under U.S. Internal Revenue Code Section 501 (c)(3). The purpose of FoJCM is to promote and support educational, medical, religious, cultural and other assistance to the Jewish community of Mozambique; to provide philanthropic relief for its poor, distressed or underprivileged; and to support the furnishing and maintenance of its religious facilities and cemeteries. Contributions to FoJCM are tax deductible in the United States.

When contributing to the 501c3 please include your contact information so we may send an acknowledgement letter and tax receipt.
